Aaron Eckhart Spent Two Years Giving Up
In 2016, Aaron Eckhart shocked his fans by announcing that he no longer considered himself a star and was ready to give up Hollywood. Eckhart initially gained widespread fame in 2000 when he played George in “Erin Brockovich.” He later made other appearances in movies such as “The Core,” “The Dark Knight,” and “Thank You For Smoking.”
Yet, convinced he wasn’t as great an actor as before, he took a two-year break before returning in 2018 in an unremarkable role on “The Romanoffs.” He is now appearing in the 2022 TV series “The First Lady” and plays a voice role in “Pantheon.”
