Wrap Frozen Edibles
When we wrap our foods before freezing, the main reason is to keep the air out and protect our food items from freezer burn. We make use of food-grade materials, like heavy plastic wrap, aluminum foil, freezer paper or plastic bags, and parchment to achieve these.
Apart from the item getting cold faster, using aluminum foil also preserves the flavor and texture of the item. For example, wrap your leftover pizza in foil before placing it in the fridge.
