Jimmy Kimmel is one of the first celebrities who pioneered intermittent fasting. The pattern of restrictive eating has helped scores of people lose massive amounts of weight, and it had the same impact on Kimmel.
He explained that he followed the 5:2 method which essentially meant that he fasted for two days and indulged the rest of the days each week. However, he started working out and quit intermittent fasting. The simple reason was that exercising makes you feel hungrier and he just couldn’t power through the fast days. He had been at it for years and lost 25 lbs.
