Condoleezza Rice, $12 Million
Condoleezza Rice rightly applied the phrase ‘work smart, not hard.’ Considering that she did not have much prior political experience, she had to be both wise as well as lucky to have worked under the George H. W. Bush administration as a director of international affairs with the Soviet Union in the National Security Council in 1989.
Rice is a director at the Hoover Institution, a formal unit of Stanford University. She’s managed another number of different roles outside of politics after leaving public office in 2009. And it is most probably all of them which contributed to her fortune of $12 million.
